The lake, about ninety minutes from Nairobi

Naivasha

Lake light, acacia, and houses with enough room for the people you actually travel with. Close enough for a weekend. Far enough to feel gone.

The place

Naivasha is the usual answer when Nairobi wants a night away and the coast is too far. The lake, the gardens and the space matter more than a busy town. Some homes look at water. Some simply have a lawn and quiet.

It works for couples and, especially, for groups who want one house rather than several rooms. Say if you need staffed meals, a self-catering kitchen, or space for children to be outside. Those change which homes are worth asking about.

We do not claim that a particular house in Naivasha is available. Tell us the trip and we will look among existing Airbnb homes and other participating hosts.

What we look for

  • Lakeside houses

When the view is the reason for the drive.

  • Garden homes

Countryside houses with room to sit outside, with or without the lake in sight.

  • Group houses

One booking, enough beds, a table that fits everyone.
