People come for the mountain, the quiet, and a house with a fire or a wide terrace rather than a pool as the main event. Mornings are the point. So is being able to see weather move across the land.
We look for holiday homes and furnished stays with a real sense of the highlands — not a city apartment that happens to be north of Nairobi. If you are travelling as a group, say how many beds you need and whether you want to be in town or well outside it.
We do not claim that a particular house in Nanyuki is available. Tell us the trip and we will look among existing Airbnb homes and other participating hosts.
